CYCLE OF WASTE. A bicyclist out on what is supposed to be a relaxing past time passing through two vegetable dumping sites within kilometers of each other in Bayombong town in Nueva Vizcaya. The first one, tomatoes, was widely recirculated and members tagged us to it. This why we came to do a Tomato Rescue Buy recently for multiple farmers.
The second set of pictures that the cyclist took are BELL PEPPERS. They never made it past his page. If a tree falls in the forest and there was no one there to hear it fall, did it make a sound? This dumping of Bell Peppers, if we did not see it and if we did not do anything about it, did it ever happen? The cyclist says some of the bellpeppers can still be saved, the dumping site was just week old. (“Wala pang isang linggo, nung nagtapon sila ng kamatis… bell pepper naman, pwede po puntahan ngayon marami pa 26 crates daw yan, near Pawak Elementary school Bayombong Nueva Vizcaya location”). I don’t think people would get very much if they picked through garbage, and the farmer certainly gets nothing.
