Boneless Smoked Tinapa

BOTTLED SMOKE. It gives us a lot of pleasure to offer @everyone the BOTTLED SMOKED SALMON. The fish is sourced from smoked fish vendor stalls that used to a long length of highway between Penaranda and Gapan. Now no longer, there are no more than two vendors there at any given time. The art of smoking fish seems to be dying and with it this way of people making a livelihood. We’re doing our small way to keep it going for a couple of families. We buy the smoked salmon in big batches and travel it to Gabaldon, Nueva Ecija where it is recooked with pickling vegetables provided by us. We get a lot of satisfaction from having such a unique offering to our members. This week they gave us a bottle of smoked alumahan (long-jawed mackerel), an experiment for a fish that we know tastes very good, and we can’t wait to try it.
