RIPE TIME FOR EVERYTHING. TBH, I myself seriously doubted the number of days it would take for the tomatoes to ripen. Everything green inevitably ripens — mango does, surely tomato too. Of course Andie had to say “Eh, yung cucumber?”. That got me stumped because she is right of course. But di ba I told you that we are buying these tomatoes as the opportunity to help our farmers (ngayun lang sila babawi) and the opportunity to help consumers (ngayung mataas ang presyo ng kamatis)? Imagine my relief/delight when Dinna S. sent me this photo this morning. Aha! I need not have worried so much pala, nahihinog naman pala. To all members to who supported the Tomato Group Buy, thank you for keeping faith. These may not be the best-looking tomatoes in the world but you still bought. The opportunity to help has been delivered in full and to full satisfaction.
