PAPAYA MAPAPAIYAK. Our hearts go out to this PAPAYA farmer of Malasiqui, in my home province of Pangasinan. He brought his produce to Urdaneta bagsakan, buyers were too few and far in between. He left his papayas there during the #GulayApolcalypse and before #TyphoonEnteng. He hoped that he waited at the farm for buyers, they did not, he would wait in vain. His trees are toppling over from the weight of unharvested, unsold Papayas. It does not need a a storm to do that, a silent calamity is about to happen on its own. We do not need to see this farmer’s face, it sounds like he is about to cry.
