If you can imagine soft and fluffy santol fruit in a pod but sweet as homemade vanilla ice cream, not sour, that’s the Ice Cream Bean. Simply open the pod by pulling it apart and eat the pulp directly. The perfect mess-free snack for @everyone seekung a unique fruit experience, this is the most tropical of tropical fruits, nature’s candy. We found these Ice Cream Beans in Sagada, Mountain Province during our search for coffee growers. They primarily use the ice cream bean tree to shade young coffee plants from direct sunlight. You cna imagine how delighted our farmers there are when for the prospect of getting an extra income from the sale of these beans.
