THE HOUSE THAT MARMALADE MADE. It was a long time dream for Andie and the children to have an industrial cooker mixer for the RuRi Resceu Kitchen. For this Christmas, they took courage — and a hefty chunk of the piggy bank, the two hind legs and an ear, I think — went ahead and bought one. To see this shiny modern machine standing on the 60-year old Machuca tiles of Rural Rising West, it was hard to believe that it really happened. You wonder what our excited children made first, let me tell you — it’s TANKAN ORANGE MARMALADE. This first product was made with so much love, with our fullest confidence, and come with so much hope for the RuRi Rescue Kitchen to succeed.
