Hass Avocadoes GB

RURI EXCLUSIVE. Authentic, locally-grown Hass Avocados. The perfect gift to friends, family or yourself this Christmas season. Comes in a simple cardboard box with a card. Each box weighs 5 kilos.  Pay only P2,499 per box of Avocados.

A very interesting story about the Hass: it was named after its American creator Rudolph Hass. All the world’s Hass Avocado trees came from graftings from a single tree in southern California, the one that Rudolph grew from a seed he planted in 1926. That tree lived to 76 years old after finally succumbing to root rot in 2002.

What makes Hass Avocados taste richer, nuttier, and creamier than other avocadoes is its higher oil content. It is the most desired and most consumed avocado variety in the world, though it is rare to find it here in the Philippines. We were able to offer Hass  our members, only once and that was years ago. Our hesitation to offer it was erased only when we made an important legal clarification with Ex-Agriculture Secretary Manny Pinol on the patent/s that protects the Hass. Allow me to share our chat.
