Mabolo
Mabolo
RURI CLUB
RARE RED EDIBLE VELVET. In Sariaya Quezon, they call these fruits “talang”. We know it generally as Mabolo, but how fancy the English name! They’re called VELVET APPLES. You can see why they are called that — the skin looks and feels like velvet paper. The flesh under this furry skin is white, firm and mealy like an apple. The taste is best described as a banana-flavored apple. If your childhood was fantastic because you knew mabolos, this is your chance to relive memories. If you have never had a mabolo, this is your chance to try a rare and edible red velvet.
SNAP BUY MABOLO. We are happy to offer members rare Velvet Apples or Mabolo. If you give P499, your share if 3 kilos. Find the order link in the comments section below.
