YOU RED OUR MINDS. We were thinking of offering something red for Valentines day and here! Because red is the color of the month, because we truly love our local farmers, we offer from the farmers’ hearts these REDSEN POTATOES. Hard to find, like true love.

About these Red Potatoes:
The Redsen variety potatoes have a slightly oblong shape with a red skin, creamy white flesh and shallow eyes. Red potatoes are excellent for boiling, steaming, pan frying and using in salads.

SOVEREIGN REDSEN. No, Rural Rising does NOT touch much less distribute to its members imported produce. Not fruits, especially not vegetables. These REDSEN POTATOES, sans the name, are are locally grown in Buguias, Benguet. To prove it to you, may we show you photos of our farmers digging it out of good old Philippine soil? The only “foreign” connection these Redsen Potatoes have is that the farmer bravely snuck a can of seeds in his return luggage when he went to Canada on an agricultural tour. We have him to thank for us having Redsen Potatoes right now, while still keeping our sovereignity.
