TIME TO TAMARIND. One of our farmers sent us a few kilos of RIPE TAMARIND. Gift daw. Andie and I started chomping almost immediately and when we thought to to take a video, it was almost gone. Here is that video. This morning at RuRi West, I had a conversation with a mother and daughter about hard-to-find local fruits and I casually mentioned that we had tamarind. “We’re looking for that for a long time!” they exclaimed together. What did I do? i called the farmer and what did he say? He has several trees and several hundred kilos so sel. Ah, kaya pala. Let’s test the level of interest and hope it’s strong enough to give the farmers a good order. We hope that you too have been looking for Ripe Tamarind a long time too.
