Aeta Basket

Fond memories of the bright and happy Aeta children of Nabuklod, Floridablanca, Pampanga. On and off over the years, when they have something to sell or when their parents are able to send a text, we see them again. Every time, we bring over boxes filled with gifts of clothes, toys, food and books. The hanging kalabasa, those were from Nabuklod. The turmeric (luyang dilaw) for the RuRi Eggs and the ube for Andie’s Chewy Ube Jam, those too.

THE AETA BASKET. A new development and a renewed trust to help the Aeta farmers in Nabuklod. We shall be buying from them regularly, they shall be planting this for us — THE AETA BASKET. This is an offer for 4 mixed kilos of assorted Aeta-grown produce including 4 kinds of sweet potatoes (Inube, Kinerots, Taiwan C at Super Beuro), ube, gabi, saging saba, luya, kalabasa and more. A little of this or a little of that until it’s 4 kilos, it’s a lot of help.
