BASIL SISON AGAIN. Most of the farmers who’ve ever offered us BASIL are highland farmers who grow them in scattered parts of Benguet. So the first time this lady farmer came to us with Basil she says she grew in muggy Sison, Pangasinan, we were indeed very surprised. It’s not a mere 5 or 10 kilos grown in a backyard plot as a by-the-way, it’s 200 ~ 300 kilos grown seriously on a hectare of foothills. That Rescue Buy™ was on of our most succesful ones. The next year, she lost most of the basil to two consecutive typhoons. She is coming to us again this season for help, for what promises to be a bumper crop of Basil, and we are happy to once again come to her rescue.
