Cauliflower

Last week of November, our farmer gave notice of the cauliflower harvest. “Sir tulongan nio naman ulit kmi para maibenta ang mga pananim namin na cauliflower, salamat”. And then a few days later on December 1, she said ready na for harvest. At that time we were exceedingly busy at Camp Mingan with the international service learning camp. We saw her message but had no chance to act on it. I was not able to write about it, to think about it. Today, she makes the same plea again today, “Sir sana matulongan nio ulit kmi marami na kasi kming tanin na koli flowers sir”. And this time I cannot, I do not want to say no. Tulungan po natin ang ating CAULIFLOWER farmer sa Sta. Catalina, Ilocos Sur.
