Itlog, Papaya at Atsara

OUR HAPPY FATHER’S DAY OFFERING. In Laguna there’s an uber popular salted egg brand, an eggs-titution if you will, called Itlog ni Kuya. I think our RuRi Egg compares exceedingly well but that’s not the point of this piece. This is about a FATHER’S DAY offering that we’d like to call ITLOG NI PAPA’T SARA. It’s Probiotic Eggs, Rescue Papayas and Pickled Papaya (Atsara) — the three things you need to make a manly breakfast on Father’s Day June 15. Probiotic Eggs you already know and love. Papayas from Baler, perhaps Papa has been there for the surfing, this is the next best thing. The Atsara, we offer it only very rarely, it’s a special preparation by the very farmers that make our RuRi Egg so they shoudl be good. They ARE good.
