CHEAPS AHOY! The farmers of Tuburan, Cebu welcomed us with hot coco made from local cacao, and a delightful cookie made from pumpkin, cacao nibs and carabao milk. A balm to our aching travelling bones.

“Parang winner”, I said, and we tested it at the Mactan Newtown BPO that hosted our RuRIPop. It was so good that people asked to take photos of it with us — not sure what was happening there.
It was so good that we took 100+ packs home with us. Kalabasa Cookies with Chocolate Nibs and Carabao Milk, let’s call it CHEAPS AHOY! for now, kasi mura’t kasingsarap. WHat we like very much is that it uses local Cebu kalabasa, which helps a greater number of farmers.
