These young farmers are hoping to sell their labong for a price better than they can get from traditional buyers.They’ll start gathering labong in the mountainous area around Balungao, Pangasinan when we place our order. We shall dispatch on August 30, 20205. If you love Labong in its many cooked iterations—ginataan, adobo, dinendeng or my personal favorite, atsara—this offer is for you. Ordinarily, the only way you can get Labong in the city is minced or canned. This Labong comes in its “naturally packaged” form. Chopped at the base with a bolo, outer leaves left on for freshness, and sent to us in sacks. This is what Labong should look like — sold whole and it’s just P220 for two pieces already.
