LANGKA NG LANGIT.
This is how we met the LANGKA farmers from Malvar, Batangas. They reached out to us one New Year’s Eve with a huge problem of 18 unsold whole Langkas. The holiday buyers wanted bilog-bilog fruits for their tables, not fruits the size of their lechons. So two days na daw sila natutulog sa sidewalk, on cigarette boxes, at Q-Mart, wala pa daw sila tulog. What do you say when you hear someone in this situation? “Send mo sa RuRi House” we said and that really blew them away. A weight lifted off their shoulders all of a sudden, hulog daw tayo ng langit.

LIMANG LANGKA. So here we are again wanting to help the same farmers. They will be bringing 5 ~ 7 pieces of Langka. We hope to tell them tomorrow “Bring niyo na sa RuRi West”. Pwede po ba — the langka is just P999 per piece (approximately 10 kilos each).
