We used the tree-ripened ThaiYum Mangoes, mangoes that would otherwise be another case of food waste. This is food waste to Food Ways. Walang bumibili sa Nueva Ecija, nahulog at nabubulok lang (There are no buyers for it in, they just fall to the ground and rot). Look at them. As we all know, these are the kind of mangoes that taste the best. What we did was we sent crates to Nueva Ecija and transported them like precious treasures to QC.
There’s spices mixed in. If you like/love the taste of the filling of the Jollibee Peach Mango Pie, this is the closest we can describe this…only so much better because it is helping the farmers.
