Papaya

PAPAYEAH. What we have here are very good PAPAYAS, the first harvest actually, from a mountainous area in Gabaldon, Nueva Ecija. As you know this is the town where wehave befriended a community of Dumagat IPs through constant engagement. One of these engagements was the just concluded service learning camp with international students, where the tribe taught the art of making fire using bamboo sticks. Now you know where Andie and I have been these past two weeks. On the way back to “civilization”, we loaded several baskets of these excellent Papayas in the car, some of them were gifts brough to Camp Mingan by the tribe. We are happy and proud for you to have them, we insisted on paying for the Papayas.
