We guarantee to you that the price we pay to the farmer for this PUMPKIN is P25/kg. Hindi piso, my goodness. The price to you is P220 for 6 kilos — from that we take our cost to transport, cost to dispatch, the cost of eco bags, and the cost of wastage — plus a few extra dozen kilos that we route to hungry animal rescue centers. If you’re seeing us able to donate hundreds more kilos, some of that Kalabasa is coming from members who do not claim their orders within 48 hours, forfeited and donated by default. Some of that Kalabasa are also coming from the P5+ donations sent to the “Free Food for Abandoned Animals” programs. Every bit counts, everyone wins, every aspect of this Bayanihan works.
