FOOD CONTROL PROJECT. Ito yung luxury vehicle na wala talagang import record and certificate of payment. Locally made by our ingenuous SAYOTE farmers from an old motor and scrap metals, hindi ito imported. What a convenience and luxury this is for this farming community in Sagpat, they do not have to walk across down, across and up this gaping divide to get to the other side. Puro na tayo flood control, so much dismay and unhappiness floating over our country right now. This is food control, the sight of our farmers doing what they can to help themselves makes you feel happier. Nakaka-bilib, nakaka-feel good. One of the “good senators” proposed for some of that money to go to a “libreng almusal”, pwede rin kaya a tramline for all farmer communities that need it?

THE REAL LUXURY VEHICLE. All that flap about ill-gotten luxury vehicles remind us of the time that Supercar Blondie, a British car vlogger with 40M followers featured our farmers in Brgy. Sagpat, Kibungan, Benguet. They were using an improvised but indispensable motorized vegetable tramline. Without this invention, they would have to walk for hours back-and-forth with sacks of vegetables on their backs. This is the real luxury vehicle, and we wish that all highland farmers are blessed with this. We call these gentlemen the Sayote Riders of Sagpat. Ito ang pagsisipag at kagalingan na dapat gayahin ng lahat.
