ECONOMY OF SCALE WE DON’T CARE NA. So tired na. We finally gave up trying to find a truck that would take our watermelons in Badoc. We had the farmers bring them to the nearest Partas Bus station and load them INSIDE the bus, on the seats. We paid the full fare, like these sacks were living people. Makarating lang sa Metro Manila ang mga pkwan na ito.

We are struggling so much finding a driver to take our booking from Sinait, Ilocos Sur. From Sinait kasi, the truck has to travel a 10-kilometer rough backroad into Badoc, Ilocos Norte. We’re scrambling to find a truck right now. The farmer has an L-300 truck, too small and it’s even unregistered to travel so he is afraid to go on the highway, much less the NLEX. We are learning why buyers are not coming to these farms. We’ll persist. Ruri, please support this Rescue effort, to give us strength.
