We’re known for our corn, mostly because we’re very particular about it.
Our corn comes from farmers in Villasis, Pangasinan. In the beginning, there were only a couple of them planting corn for us. Over time, we shared seeds and some basic farming tools, and a few more farmers joined in.
Now, we get different corn varieties more regularly, but never for long stretches. Corn has a short window. Miss it, and it’s no longer the same.
When LAKAN Corn is up, it’s because it was harvested, packed, and moved with intention. When it’s gone, we wait for the next harvest.
