From the time of harvest to the time they’re in your hands, no more than 24 hours passes. So tomorrow morning, the “Sisiwit” (whistling) Boys of Villasis will harvest an excellent variety of corn called “LAKAN” (Old Man). They’ll be put on a passing backload truck which will drop the corn off at RuRi. Time elapsed, 6 hours. You can then get them immediately in the afternoon or next day early morning, before the 24 hours are up. That’s our secret to fresh corn, there is no mais-tery.
