DISTRESSED FARMER TO RURI AMBASSADOR. This was the time that a distressed farmer named Aka came to Rural Rising for help. He had just come from the La Trinidad Trading Post where buyers summarily rejected his freshly-harvested RADISHES. May gasgas or ground marks daw. His wife was so disappointed (traumatized?) that she could not even speak when we asked her why they were there. That was then we resolved to get all two tons, and when Aka came back with two more loads, we took those too. Seeing that the tires on his truck were dangerously thin and that he had a young child as passenger, we surpised him with the gift of a new set of tires. At the end the video, you will see Aka bringing back gifts of new clothes and school supplies to his community. You will see him proudly wearing a RuRi shirt, our ambassador among th farmers of Bakun.
