Five years of Rural Rising, we have seen how extreme heat affects crop yields, especially with Corn. At midnight tonight, as is their practice, they’ll wake up at midnight and will be in the fields after they’ve had their coffee. We’ve never seen other farmers harvest at that hour and when we asked why, they said it was to avoid the heat. Tomorrow’s corn will be the Japanese Sweet variety, we are hoping for your kind, strong and enthusiastic support.
