Yellow Zucchini

SEE KINI. I asked lively Lee, you’ve seen her at RuRi West, to take a photo of the YELLOW ZUCCHINI. “Place them on top of the bananas,”I said, and she did. This is the single photo she sent me. Perhaps I should start calling her Blurry Lee. Anyway, despite the less than ideal quality of the photography, you can still see how yellow this special Zucchini is.

NO, THESE ARE NOT BANANAS. These are Yellow Zucchinies. Enjoy like regular green zucchinis but multiplied by 10. Sweeter than their green cousins, and combined, they make a very colourful and flavourful dish. These beauties came from a young farmer named Jennifer Palaez from Kapangan, Benguet. She is the only farmer in that town who is able to grow Yellow Zucchini.
As far as we know, she is the only one that grows these Golden Zucchinis in the whole Cordilleras.
